A sensitive remodelling of a Victorian warehouse apartment
in Clerkenwell, juxtaposing historic fabric with contemporary internal interventions to create a rich and layered home. A considered palette of timber, ceramics and clay plaster compliments the existing brick and concrete surfaces. A cluster of new central rooms enable living and sleeping spaces to profit from daylight at opposite ends of the protracted floorplan, connected by a framed view through the central oak-lined library.
