Sitting Pink

Sitting pink reimagines ground floor living by creating an interior courtyard to the newly configured kitchen, living, dining space. The modest addition and refurbished spaces are designed to create calm within a busy family home.
“The build has transformed not just our home, but how we live as a family. What was a disjointed house is now completely unrecognisable. It is now a perfect series of connected, equally useful and beautiful spaces. District has unlocked how the house was meant to be. We particularly love how fun and playful it feels. We didn’t want anything that felt traditional or stuffy, and the bold colours make it the perfect home for our young family. The huge windows give us a connection with outside, which was never there before, and the zinc cladding is spectacular. The main thing is how well it works as a practical family home. The kids love charging around on scooters, whilst sitting in the courtyard feels like being on holiday. Every time we walk into the space we get a genuine buzz of joy.”
