“We first discovered Draper Studio by looking at the 2021 DMI Shortlist and liking Adam's Peckham Rye House. This was our first architecturally led project and Adam worked hard to steer us through the challenges, the problems and the solutions. He listened carefully to our ambitions for the redesign and extension of our ground floor and designed something that answered our brief, but in an exciting manner that we would never have arrived at without him. It is not easy committing considerable sums of money to a plan devised by someone you hardly know but now that we are back living in the house, we are delighted with the end result; be that the bricks feeling a part of the garden when the sun hits them, to the smaller details we worked with him on - the recessed LED strip task lighting or Adam’s input into a shallow glassware cupboard to help us entertain without getting in each other’s way.”
