Forrest Hill House

The project encompasses a rear extension, interior remodelling and landscaping to radically improve flow and connections between key spaces and garden. New external walls are in red brickwork while a crisp new canopy and screen in weathering steel are a contemporary take on the Victorian bay window and veranda at the front of the house. Generous steps lead down to the patio, doubling as a place to sit and to take in the summer evening sun. Internally, reception rooms have been linked to the new kitchen where sliding glass doors and a window seat add further views of the garden.
