Cambridge Road

Cambridge Road is a modern yet sympathetic extension to an Edwardian building which improves the living accommodation by creating a series of connected spaces throughout the ground floor. The pitched form is inspired by the roof angles of the existing terrace houses and includes a clerestory skylight which draws light from different times of the day deep into the footprint of the home.

The elevation is clad in traditional clay tiles which reflect the cladding of the host building in a modern and original way yet is no more expensive than a typical facing brick cavity wall. High quality and durable materials have been selected that create a unique and long-lasting addition to the building
