Unusual use of materials and a shapeshifting cupboard wall (containing many things including a garden seat) and a blurring of the boundaries between inside and outside family space, make this side return extension/ transformation of a cramped terraced house a little bit unusual.
“We enjoy the space, great garden view and increased insulation (less cold, less noise). We sit outside more, have more people over and barbeque all the time. The children enjoy the garden more for sure.”
